Thinking Differently

We have never bought into the network marketing idea before. Our first experience with it was 7 years ago when a neighbor offered information to us about a new company named Xango. We wish we would have listened then because Xango has now grown to a $2.5 billion company. Since that time 7 years ago, we have seen network marketing all around us. Our friends have tried it and our family members have tried it. We have not seen someone we know actually succeed at it. We took the path of going to school and working hard to move up in a job. It has worked pretty good so far, and we are happy with our life. Why would we ever decide to become network marketers?

We started thinking differently when we realized our retirement was in trouble. For the past 10 years of our marriage we have been stuffing money into our 401k and our roth IRAs and we honestly are not seeing any growth. With the current economy, it doesn't look like the next 10 years will be any better. There had to be something better out there. After discussing our situation with many people, a friend at work recommended we read a book titled "Rich Dad Poor Dad." It opened our eyes to a new way of thinking. We decided to not go off and buy the new big house we wanted, because we needed to start investing in our future. We need to start aquiring assets to help our wealth grow.

We researched real estate, franchising, starting businesses, and network marketing. Network marketing is our starting point for the following reasons:

1. The Challenge - we have never seen anyone pull it off


2. The Possibility - many people within these companies make thousands of dollars each month


3. The Education - learning how to talk with people and promote ideas will be important to help us succeed


4. The Fun - working together on goals strengthens our marriage


5. The Adventure - we like to step into the unknown to help us grow

Thinking differently is the first step to success.
